Set up Fingerprint Lock on Huawei Honor 8C

Fingerprint lock is a high level of security but PIN and Password options are also available as the same security level. You can open your Huawei Honor 8C both quickly and easily with fingerprint option. So when the phone lock code is turned on, you need to be used every time. Follow the steps below to set up fingerprint lock on Huawei Honor 8C.

How to Enable Fingerprint Lock on Your Phone?

1 – Firstly, tap “Settings” from menu.

2 – And now touch “Security & privacy” option.

3 – Then select “Fingerprint management” option.

4 – And then select “Pattern”, “PIN” or “Password” from options.

IMPORTANT: Don’t forget your password. Because you will use this password when the fingerprint sensor does not work. If you forget your password, you will have to reset factory settings.

5 – And then touch “New fingerprint” option on your Huawei Honor 8C.

6 – Place your finger on the fingerprint lock sensor and “OK”.

How to Disable Fingerprint Lock on Your Phone?

1 – Firstly, tap “Settings” from menu.

2 – Then touch “Screen lock & passwords” option.

3 – Select “Password” option.

4 – Touch “None” option on your Huawei Honor 8C.

NOTE: If you remove your fingerprint lock and password, you can not prevents others from accessing the contents of your mobile phone (pictures, messages etc.).

5 – Finally, tap “REMOVE” option.
